Along with solar and wind energy, biomass, geothermal sources and biogas are other renewable energy sources that are widely used in the world. Although they bring valuable economic and environmental benefits, it is not easy for them to enter the energy market, and they are not used too much by the Black Sea neighbors Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia. The “Neighbors” website – is a joint project of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova giving multimedia glance to the everyday life of people in these countries. United by borders all three of them are facing quite similar challenges in business, everyday life or urban development. From secrets of wine to the swamp of oligarchy – follow these stories with the journalists from Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia to see how their neighbors are dealing with similar challenges.
The website is developed within the cross-border project “The Strengthening Independent Media in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine”. “Neighbors” is aimed to support for joint content production by media partners in Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia, as well as the contextualizing and bundling of national content into multimedia packages that concern issues relevant to audiences in all three countries.
