Complaints of the tax payers will be considered by the Fiscal Service quicker and more transparently. These changes were introduced through the Ordinance of the Ministry of Finance on the regulations of filling out and submitting complaints by the tax payers and handling by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) bodies, in effect since November 25.
The renewed mechanism is needed to raise the confidence of the tax payers in the appeal, to decrease the number of court cases and related expenditures.
Now the complaints of the tax payers may be considered at the open session attended by media representatives using photo and video documenting. Also, copying of the inspection and appeal protocols is allowed.
Allowed at the session representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the State Regulation Service and the Business Ombudsman Council can ensure the objectivity of the process of consideration of the complaints.
