Today, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has launched a national pilot project “Online House of Justice”. As of now, residents of all Ukrainian regions have an opportunity to re-obtain civil registration documents, register or liquidate a private enterprise, Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko has posted on his page on Facebook. Earlier, this online service worked on the basis of the capital’s Department of Justice.
Using the automated online system “House of Justice,” it is possible to order re-issuance of documents, register a public association or media, get electronic digital signature (EDS), obtain information from various state online registries. Moreover, one can browse vacancies available at the state government bodies and upload his/her CV. Also, the system allows to sign up for a service “SMS Mayak” (eng. lighthouse) and receive information about any changes that occur at the real estate sphere. To save personal data the site “House of Justice” use a secure SSL connection.
To register or liquidate a private enterprise, an applicant should create a personal account and submit an application. The registration procedure takes no more than a day.
“House of Justice” online services are available at http://online.minjust.gov.ua. During the first two weeks, the service is planned to run in test mode.
According to the Minister, the project launch is the first step to create an e-government in Ukraine. He appealed to the People Deputies to support the Draft Law “On Trust Services,” developed by the Ministry of Justice in cooperation with experts. Currently, the Draft Law is being prepared for consideration at the second reading. Petrenko believes that this Draft Law will allow to launch an e-government system and online services.
