The government introduced offices of reforms experts at the Ukrainian ministries adopting the respective Concept.
The new offices were introduced because of lack of specialists capable of working on key reforms at the state service. The website of the National Reforms Council reports this.
As the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Alexander Sayenko stated, the new officials will receive higher wages than their colleagues because they will be funded through the European grants.
The reforms specialists will prepare and implement the key national reforms. In particular, they will determine the problems and prepare new draft laws to solve those.
The team of new specialists will be formed already in March 2017. A nominee for the post must have skills of project management and strategic planning. Also, the future reformer must be a good analyst, creative and able to work under pressure person, having knowledge of English and understanding the political situation in the country.
