The Central Reforms Office started its work in Kyiv. It will coordinate the decentralization processes in the country.
Its staff will help the regional “Centers of the local self-governing development” and the sector offices on decentralization support, improve the systems of education and health care, territorial plans, etc.
Hundreds of heads and council members of the new united territorial communities will start at their jobs soon. Supported by the local and central reforms offices, they will share experiences, receive expert consultations, analytical information, and the legal aid. Also, the residents will have an opportunity to get information about the community development grants from the regional centers.
Creation of the Central office was funded by the European Union and several European countries.
